High Blood Pressure Treatment In Ayurveda

Ayurveda, which is the ancient-most science of India is the most efficient in curing diseases at which allopathy fails at times. According to Ayurveda disease is the discomfort caused due to ailments and conditions which disrupt the self-healing mechanism of our body. Ayurvedic treatments include herbal combinations of medicines which enhance the self-balancing mechanism of the body naturally.

Hypertension is one such problem majority of people face today due to the lifestyle issues and stress levels. The heart pumps blood through arteries and veins at a particular pressure which is normal. When this pressure increases, heart functions get disturbed. This is called hypertension or high blood pressure.

The normal blood pressure reads systolic 120 over diastolic 80. When it increases over these values, the person suffers from various symptoms of high BP. Frequent urination, palpitation, dizziness, headache, fatigue, difficulty in breathing and nervous tension are few common symptoms of hypertension.

Major causes of high BP are lifestyle issues, stress due to work pressure and responsibilities, metabolic disorders, increase in the vatadosha, intake of alcohol, smoking, excessive intake of salt and obesity or hardening of arteries due to junk food.

There are no permanent treatment options available except for the Ayurvedic treatments for high blood pressure. Ayurveda stresses on the misbalanced “Vata” which increases risk of hypertension. The balancing of vata with ayurvedic medicines as well as exercises which complement these medicines releases the pressure over your heart and regularizes the flow of blood with normal pressure.

People with Pitta and Vata dosh are more prone to hypertension. Irritability, anger, frustration and anxiety leads to dysfunction of the endocrine system and in turn leads to conditions like hypertension. Thus Ayurveda aims at treating the endocrine system to reduce the effects of high BP.

Exercises like yoga for one hour daily, a balanced diet, meditation, change in routine life, change in behavior, meditation and intake of medicinal herbs and capsules like Stresx capsules are guaranteed measures to treat high blood pressure issues.

Stresx capsules are clinically proven and tested herbs which have gained recognition worldwide for its effective reduction in hypertension. The capsules contain herbs like Brahmi, Ashwagandha, Shankhapushpa, Arjun, Aam, Gul Chandni and so on, which lower the pressure on your heart and guards the cardiovascular system thus increasing wellbeing as well as energy levels of a person. The above said herbs soothe the nervous system and protect against plaque development around arteries, which is the main cause of building pressure. They also maintain heart health against attacks, strokes and blood clotting.

Apart from the medicines, Ayurveda also suggests changes in lifestyle and diet to improve the condition more effectively. Ayurveda recommends reduced intake of coffee, meat, eggs and dairy products, salt and protein in general. It also suggests that the diet must contain vegetables, milk, garlic, lemon, fruits like melons, grapes and mono saturated fats.

A healthy lifestyle with correct eating, exercise, drinking plenty of water and meditation to soothe your heart and nervous system are the key practices to get rid of hypertension.
