It's always like this - at the most interesting part! If this cry of disappointment was heard because the washing machine stopped right in the middle of the wash - something needs to be done about it! For starters - stop being so impressionable.

First of all, stop being so impressionable.

Well, it happens with a washing machine that it suddenly changes its mind about draining the water. Then it's worth looking and trying to figure out why this happened.

Sometimes a visual inspection is enough to find and quickly fix the problem.

1. The drain hose is blocked

First of all, check what's wrong with your hose. Especially if the process stopped at the very beginning, during the first drain in the washing cycle.

Perhaps the hose is pinched, twisted - in general, something is preventing the water from freely leaving the space of the washing machine through this channel.

Straighten the hose and the washing will resume. By the way, if there are any problems with the hoses (cracked, leaking), it is not a problem to buy a new one from ALM-spare parts.

If the hose is OK, we move on to the next step.

2. The program crashed

Stop the set washing mode, let the machine rest for a couple of minutes and start the "Drain" function. It is quite possible that you will be lucky - the machine will drain the water successfully. What to do next, decide depending on the stage at which the washing is stuck. If all that remains is to spin the laundry, start the "Spin" function.

If the stop occurred in the middle of the process and you still need to rinse the laundry, then select a program with the appropriate number of rinses and go ahead! If the procedure does not help, then the problem may be in the control module , which has stopped giving commands as it should. But do not rush to make a verdict - the problem may be simpler. So, let's look for the cause further.

3. The filter is clogged

Be sure to check – perhaps the drain pump filter is clogged . Look in the technical data sheet to see where it is located for your model. Remove (or unscrew and then remove) the panel and unscrew the filter. Take out all unnecessary things from there and clean the filter from dirt. If there is visible damage, then you should buy a new filter and replace the worn-out old one. If there are no visible breakages or obstacles for water (coins, buttons), check if the pump itself is clogged. Turn the impeller – perhaps something is stuck inside and prevents the pump from working properly. Does it turn freely by hand? Let's keep looking!

4. The drain pump is broken

Perhaps the drain pump is simply broken. By the way, this is a very common reason why the machine does not drain. How to check? Start the "Drain" mode again, wait for the impeller to start rotating. Didn't wait? Then it's definitely broken! Did the fan rustle cheerfully with its wings? Carefully press in the center, for example, with a screwdriver handle. Did the rotation stop? Then it is broken after all, and the drain pump will have to be replaced. According to experienced craftsmen, if the rotation does not stop, but continues, you can be sure that the pump is fine and the reason is something else.

5. The pressure switch is broken

A little less often, but it happens that the machine's reluctance to drain water is due to a breakdown of the pressure switch. Why less often? Because this breakdown usually makes itself known much earlier than it comes to draining. The pressure switch controls the amount of water being poured in and, if it is faulty, then more or less water will be collected for washing than necessary. Although at the draining stage, the pressure switch may not detect that there is still water in the tank, and then the module will not give the command to drain. As you understand, you will have to change the pressure switch .

But only a service representative who has the necessary equipment for diagnostics and professional experience, which allows him to correctly interpret the signals sent by the machine, will be able to tell you for sure whether the pressure switch or the electronic module is broken. Regardless of what broke in your conscientious assistant.
