7 Tips for Renting a Bounce House

A bounce house can turn a kid’s birthday party into a fantastic event. They can also be rented for parties, church events, picnics, school fundraisers and other events. They come in a plethora of shapes, sizes, colour and themes. Some come with the basic themes like slides while others may offer more elaborate designs, offering more challenge along with fun. When renting a bounce house, keep these points in mind:

o The inflatable rental you choose should depend on your budget. Keep in mind that price isn’t everything. Remember the saying- ‘the cheap comes out expensive’. There are reasons why some rental companies are drastically cheaper than others. The foremost reason may be that they are not insured as it becomes very expensive for a rental company to insure each and every bounce house of theirs. If a bounce house rental company hesitates to show you their insurance certificate or says that you don’t need them, be sure that they are not insured and make your way out. Also if they are charging extra for the insurance certificates, they are probably not insured.

o Consider how old the rental company is. Many dishonest rental companies buy old, used and dirty inflatable from larger companies to save money of buying new ones. Reputable well- intended companies constantly buy new inventory to replace the old ones. Make sure the rental company you are hiring from has been in business for a long time and offers you well- off, good quality bounce house.

o Before you pick up the phone to make a call, be sure about what you want.

o Ask what accessories are included in the rental agreement. Some companies may charge extra for tie- downs, entrance steps, blowers and sand bags. It’s always better to be aware of what you are getting in return of your dollars. So ask!!

o When talking with the rental company, ask for tips on how to keep guests safe. A good rental company will be willing to give you verbal or written safety instructions.

o Majority chances are that you won’t need any permission from the city hall to install a bounce house. But it doesn’t harm you to give a call downtown and be certain. You can also give a call to the local Better Business Bureau to know about the reputation of the rental company you are hiring from.

o Be certain that the inflatable you are hiring is in good condition. Also be present when the professionals from the company will be setting up the bounce house in your event location. Make sure they weigh down the structure properly to the ground using tie down stakes or sand bags. If you locate any tear or rip, report in immediately to the company. Never allow children to play in damaged bounce houses.
If you are a resident of West Palm Beach and are looking forward to rent a bounce house for an event, do not worry. There are many good rentals that provide good quality bounce houses in West Palm Beach. Hire from them and enjoy bouncing!!
